We're Always Finding Ways to Water Less

watering ideas for the garden

We're building water-holding capacity everywhere we can. Rotting wood becomes a sponge, banana stalks are chopped and left to decompose slowly, and we mulch heavily throughout the food forest.

Our aim is to have no bare soil, every inch of land covered with life. Whether it's crops, ground covers, or even weeds, every plant plays a role in holding moisture, reducing runoff, and creating a resilient, self-sustaining system.
